Introducing all the munchkins

So i added the kids pics for anyone who might be reading? Arent they great? I think that they are one of the biggest blessings God has ever given me and i would not trade them in even on the days when i would like to hide under a rock, well somewhere warm, quiet and dark anyways!! I cant believe my baby is going to be one next month. That is so incredibly sad to me! I cant believe that much time has gone by :( You know i find it so annoying at times that things come out of my mouth that i used to want to roll my eyes at when my parents said them!! What is with that? lol; you know, because i said so! If everyone else jumped off a cliff would you to?, hmmm my brain is deserting me at this moment but i am sure there are others. If anyone is reading this feel free to share! have a great night everyone! And yeah the snow is from our trip to wisconsin and michigan; can you say COLD?!!

Quick update before i go to bed

I keep finding things to do!! I just realized it has been almost a week since i blogged here. Quick update its now a min past midnight! ACK!! So anyway Sat at 1am i got worried about Jase. He sounded like he was choking; i woke dh up. He was worried too and since Kierstan so nicely shared her peanut butter with him(it was just a lick but still....) we decided to take him to the er. Turns out he has croup. What is up with this kid? I have never had so many weird things happening with any of the others. They had croup, we turned the shower on etc and they were fine. No drs needed. So anyhow interesting thing here; er dr said no fluid in his ears, one tube was a little retracted but should grow out of that; said if it was his child he would wait and see if he got another infection (sounds more like me) so then i get home at like 6:30 or so in the am. Fall asleep til i think 8 being interupted by kids,etc. Turns out 2 more kittens show up outside!! Are they ever going to stop showing up? So that makes 15 or is it 16? i cant keep count!! So then i babysat on Sat. ended up making a late trip out to the store to get Jase's meds (which i forgot to give him tonight; sigh) then home. My sis got her kids, dont remember much else, Sun we stayed home. Figured i would keep all my germs at home plus Jase was still not feeling good. Mon i gave my bro a ride to work, picked up my check, bank, gas station, grocery store, home, back out to the dr, dh got home late ; worked 10 hours though. Tues i have been here all day slowly working on getting the house straight. Nothing too exciting going on but just figured i would update. Oh yeah Mon the ped said jase might be getting an ear infection. She thinks he is but then it might just be a pink color from being "febrile" (basically means he has a fever) so she gave me a scrip. Now anyone who knows me knows i was polite enough to not roll my eyes but wanna guess if i got it filled??? The baby has been on 3 antibiotics plus 2 doses of one he is allergic too and they didnt help his ear infection in the first place PLUS you are not even SURE that he has one!! HELLO!!! ok so anyhow we have pretty much decided to wait and see what happens w/his ears and not do the surgery unless we are way convinced that he needs it. I am happy in a way he has croup cuz we probably wouldnt have gotten a second opinion otherwise. Dh doesnt often make his decisions like he did originally but he was convinced the dr was right. And i wasnt happy with it but he is dh so............. anyways i am happy in a way for the way things worked out! So have a great night/morning!!

Wed of this week

Was not the greatest!! I am wondering what to do. The ENT says that Jase needs tubes put into his ears as there is fluid in there. Though it is not infected. I have been looking online and i was suprised to see that the AAP doesnt neccesarily like the surgery and thinks its over used so....do you think i am overreacting to the bad possibilities of the surgery or do you think that i have a genuine concern? Having never been to an ent i feel the dr was too quick. Tho he may see this all the time so he may know what he is talking about...i just am so undecided. And wow what an amazing lightning show on the way home last night!!! Reminded me of the book THE GLORIOUS APPEARING by Jerry Jenkins and Tim Lahaye! Am very glad though that no tornados formed on my way home. I think i would much rather be able to see them in the daytime than have one hit at night!!

Groceries, The rest of my day

So much better!! Anyhow todays plans are to continue cleaning and to go to the grocery store. I am debating where i am going to go and i need to come up with my grocery list. I must save enough money to get Jase to the ENT tomorrow and church tomorrow night. Thankfully i got a chance to work Mon night for which i am extremely happy :) And I got paid for babysitting yesterday too so that means that I made a little extra; woohoo!! So i am thinking maybe i should wait to do my cvs trip until Sat. I am pretty sure that we can wait on toilet paper and diapers are good. I just dont want to miss out on the Pampers deal as i would like to keep my stock up. I do need to restock on laundry detergent but i am thinking that can wait til next week. It is a lot of work to stay on top of all the sales but i have saved a TON of money since starting and havent really gone too far out of my way. I ordered Jason a 25gc to Red Lobster and a 10 gc to Chili's. I figure i will hopefully be able to make enough money to pay the difference between the RL gc and the bill to make that his treat or else find something else. We shall see. And i figured he can use his Chili's gc for lunch for himself on his birthday. His work does give him a paid day off tho i dont know if he will take it or not. Anyhow those didnt cost me anything; i cashed in my clubmom points. I still have like 1500 points left. I dont know that they are doing the points anymore at all. I wish i knew; i may have to write them a letter. The bzzz agent thing isnt doing points anymore after July and is switching all their stuff over to mypoints. Yes opening 5000 emails and going to websites is a pain but if it gets free stuff why not?? When bz agent switches i should get enough points to take all of us out to eat or maybe i will order a gc to get me some decent clothes; still up in the air. Well i have decent clothes; i would just like to get some more flattering clothes. Not baggy t's and jeans that dont fit right. The size 4's from at least 4 (!!!!) years ago are getting too tight and the stretchy ones keep falling down which is not good when i need to sit on the floor w/the kids :( and the christmas ones are too tight at the waist; lol. Or am i just being too picky?? Anyhow so i am off to make my grocery list. Wonder if i should try going to Broad Street?

i think my most early post

I was reading a post this morning that got me thinking about my favorite scripture. I really dont have one. There are so many good ones and so many for the diffrent situations i encounter in my life how do you pick one? SO i am inserting the rest of my blog up here as this thing is annoying me to no end with the way it is set up when i copied and pasted! Ok scratch that. I am going to enter this and do another entry! I entered a giveaway with this one ; Eph 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Things that make me happy

Well i cant just post bad/sad/annoyed posts now can i?? LOL So my happy post for now is how kierstan walks around now complaining that Melby called her a baby and she is not a baby. And with an attitude. I must get a video on here; its so cute :) And melby says to her "but you will make me cry " every time melby wants something from her. Sisterly love at its finest aint it?
We are either scaring the kitties into loving us or winning them over but they are definitely not as wild and i think this is a very,very, very good thing. Still need to find a home for some of them, well most of them. I keep putting it off cuz i just dont want them to leave :( I do love my kitties but i cant keep 13 cats. I just keep thinking that over and over again. Anyone know what a polish is? Has to be a northern thing as i have never heard of that before and the grocery store here doesnt have it; well at least food lion doesnt and i didnt see any in ukrops either but dh says he is going to see if he can find it. He thinks i might like it. Still no garden but maybe i can work on figuring something out for that tomorrow; i really need to get some veggies growing. I am going to try the square foot garden thing so if you have any tips feel free to share!! I will be excited for that. I need to do a yard sale too but am still undecided where. I think there are some people who i might run into if i did one here that i would not want to know where i live but it might take a lot of work to get all my stuff to the other side of the county. Maybe my dads???? before he moves back. I am excited for him that he gets to move back. I am however hoping that SHE stays sane and doesnt try to kill him this time.....guess time will tell. Ok so really i am really going to bed now; happy post up! have a great night; lol

Things that annoy me

I do try not to annoy people when i go to blogs that i dont agree with and i respect most of them. I get the whole modesty thing; how can you not? I can and do read the Bible; however there is a diffrence in modesty and hiding yourself. I mean dont go wear a shirt that is cut down to your belly button or has HEY written where your boobs are etc but why do people feel like they have to act like they arent there? There have been perverts since time began (pretty much) and it doesnt matter if you wear paper bags. Look at the muslim countries that have the nothing showing or just the face. Do you really think that if someone sees my ankle they just have to have me or they will explode?? I am not going to walk around flashing myself but why on earth would it be immodest if someone happens to see that i have a (gasp) shape?? I just dont understand it. Maybe its the cultish upbringing but i am so glad that i do not have to hide just because God made me a woman. (No offense intended to anyone who has to hide to be modest) Anyhow my little rant for this evening about that (i wont even go start on writing on the butt of pants/shorts @@) anyhow
so I am NOT liking food lion at all today. Second time they misadvertised a price on taco stuff and then i had to lug all the littles back into the store and then when i get home find out they misadvertised the price on the bread stuff @@. Second time in 3 weeks that i have gotten the misadvertising on the price. I am wondering if no one else has noticed or what? Can you imagine how much extra they are making; 2 for 4.00 and they ring up 2.82 a piece; that is 1.64 per person that thinks they are getting them on sale and isnt checking. I am so now going to be standing on top of the registers annoying the checkers now by making sure it rings up right, right away!!! And children that tell me yes when they mean no and then fuss when they get what they didnt really want but told me they wanted!! Yes i was confused too but anyhow just a few rants for tonight; off to bed as i have been staying up too late and i want/need to work on getting up early! Good night and have a great night!

A new update (short)

We added one more kitten to Tiger's 4. We now have 13 cats. I am very curious to see if any more turn up. She is still wanting to be outside so i am thinking there just might be more!!!!

Definitely time to laugh

Well we found more kittens today. Not Fluffs. We thought/think Fluff had kittens but no such luck finding them. However dh was home today and heard kittens under the house. We found 4 though i am thinking there might be a few more under there of Tigers. Never suspected she was pregnant and now 4. I am rather wondering about one of these though. It was so mean and hissing and i know it was scared but seemed pretty out there to me. I will watch them for a while and hopefully we can get them to liking people. The kittens must go though
:( If i had a barn they could stay but i think our landlord is going to have a cow if he was to find out we had 12 cats!!!! Thats a lot; can you believe we started with 2 in '06 and 2 years later we have 12 (assuming Fluff's kittens are dead/gone and we dont find those??) And we gave one away and one died in a horrible accident in dh's truck :( Poor lil guy!! But 12; wow,wow,wow, I so need a farm!! I dont want to get rid of any of my babies!!!Well its past time for bed so I am off. Tomorrow i am hoping will be more productive than today!

Memorial Day

We didnt do a whole lot today. I told the kids they couldnt go fishing unless they cleaned up the living room. It didnt get done :( Very sad but they need to learn to follow directions. It worked out ok as i ended up being able to go work tonight which is very nice for me (and my gas tank!) I am going through coupon withdrawal. I ended up not getting the nail polish. I did think about going after i worked but the kids were not being very nice and already acting crazy so i was not taking them anywhere with me!! So not only did they not get to go fishing but they get no tv for a week!! Fitting punishment for mimicing some of the behaviour they have seen plus i will enjoy not listening to the tv!! Am i mean or what? I really just spent a lot of time lazing around w/dh today and not much else. Tomorrow i will be working hard on the house and the laundry is going to be my top priority. I think i am going to shoot for a yardsale here this weekend and depending on what happens i may try next sat at my inlaws; though i may change my mind. My inlaws have the whole fenced in yard for the kids to play in; downside no swingset so its def a tossup. People out this way might actually enjoy a yardsale so i guess we will see. I do need to see if the fridge is working. If that is its a fairly big ticket item to put out there. And with not too huge of a price its a nice looking fridge even for a "beer cooler" in a garage. Of course being white that could be a drawback for some people but i guess time will tell!!
We did take some time to think about what memorial day is for and to be grateful that God has blessed us by letting us be here. I admit there are some aspects to being a "spoiled american" that i enjoy!! Toilet paper would be one really big thing!! Love it :) So i hope you thought about what today was all about at least once and that your day was nice. I posted another post about haggling so i would love your thoughts about that :) or any of my posts!

Haggling; seems to go w/frugal :)

Haggling 101: Finding Hidden Deals
Simply Asking for a Better Price Can Lead to Unexpected Savings
By BILL RITTER
April 11, 2008 —
At open air markets in Turkey, they call it "pazarlik." In Mexico, they call it "regatear." Speaking in Yiddish, my grandmother called it "handel." Here in America, we call it haggling. And most of us don't like to do it unless we're forced to -- like when we buy a new home or car.
In fact, haggling makes some people so uncomfortable they'll hire professional hagglers such as car shopper Phil Landers of NoMoreHaggling.com or jewelry shopper Nina Johansson of Shangby.com, to do the dirty work for them.
Watch the story Friday on "20/20" at 10 p.m. ET.
That's because American consumers tend to assume most prices are non-negotiable. Right? "Wrong," said Teri Gault.
Gault, a self-admitted haggling expert, said there's never been a better time to haggle, given our weak economy.
"I've always gone in and asked for discounts," she said. "But possibly they would expect it even more now. If you're worried about making your bills get paid or making ends meet, this is a good way to start saving some money."
And Gault knows. She came up with a couple of consumer Web sites: TheGroceryGame and TeriToday to save consumers money. Now she's rich and doesn't need to haggle, but she just can't help herself.
"I get an endorphin rush from saving money," she said. "It literally is like a runner's high."
Most of us, though, don't have the gumption to bargain down a price with shopkeepers. In fact, lots of people find haggling embarrassing. Up until working on this piece, I know I did. But Gault told me that once you start doing it, you'll probably change your mind.
"Salespeople actually enjoy making you happy," she told me. "And you're just asking them to help you get a better price."
Assume It's Negotiable
According to Gault, most prices are negotiable -- even at chain stores like Best Buy and Macy's. To show ABC News how she haggles, Gault spent a day shopping in New York City wearing a hidden camera.
A good place to start haggling, she said, is on big ticket items, like furniture. Gault went into Sam Flax, a design store in New York City, to buy a kitchen stool. At first, she was not successful.
"Can you give me anything off of it, like say 20 percent off?" Gault asked a clerk. He responded, "No!"
She then asked another clerk who also told her no. But if at first you don't succeed, try Haggling Tip #1: Ask for the store manager or owner. They have the authority to give you a discount.
Gault finally asked the manager at Sam Flax about getting a discount on the stool. "It's $169," she said. " I was wondering if you could give me a sale price on it?"
Right away, the manager agreed. "Our sale price is $129," he said.
I asked Gault where the store manager came up with that number.
"They have a certain margin and they know what they have and he just took $40 off," she said. "Even some of the salespeople were surprised. I was happy."
Haggling at Chain Stores
Next stop: Macy's department store. Gault zeroed in on a $128 sweater, but noticed it was missing a sash.
I was surprised you can bargain at Macy's, but Gault told me, "There are different ways to do it. Now this is one of them -- I found this sweater and I liked it and it didn't have the belt to go with it. And so [the saleswoman] gave me 10 percent off."
The Macy's saleswoman told us they had a standard policy: "10 percent off is when we have any damage or something is missing something like this."
And that leads to Haggling Tip #2: Look for imperfect items. You can usually get 10 percent to 20 percent off.
Still at Macy's, Gault haggled for a discount on a $31 T-shirt. She was hoping the salespeople behind the counter might have some private store coupons to offer her, but that didn't pan out. Upon further pressing, Gault learned about a different way to get a discount. The saleswoman asked Gault whether she was from out of town and Gault told her she lived in Los Angeles.
"I said, 'Is there anything you can think of that we can do to get the price down?' and she says, 'are you a visitor?' And I said, 'yes.' And she said, 'You can get 11 percent off. Go to the visitor center, come back with a card, we'll give you 11 percent off.' Now that was a first for me! Even I had never heard of a visitor discount."
Macy's visitor discount card offers customers 11 percent off almost everything in the store, good for five days provided you can prove with identification that you're from out of town.
"Haggling makes me feel good," Gault said. "It's like winning at Vegas."
Veteran haggler Rick Doble has his own Vegas analogy.
"Haggling is to some extent a crap shoot," he said. "But that's part of the fun of it!"
Doble, who lives in North Carolina, is editor of the newsletter Savvy-Discounts.com. He told us he saves about $9,000 a year by haggling.
He recently bought a close-out model phone for 25 percent off and an amplifier for 75 percent off (because the logo was upside down). About a week ago he went to Kmart and found a camera that was listed for $109. He brought that cost down to $50. He haggled over a Brooks Brothers shirt, and got it for $2.
When Doble shops, he hunts for close-outs, which are good bait for haggling. And that's Haggling Tip # 4: Don't think you can't haggle on already discounted items and get an even better deal.
Groceries, Electronics and Jewelry
And Doble doesn't stop there: Groceries, he says, are fair game. He asked a salesperson at the market about getting a break.
"What kind of deal if we bought, say, all the asparagus, and the avocados and the yogurt?" he asked.
"I'd give you 20 percent off if you bought all that," the saleswoman said. "We'd be glad to get rid of it actually."
And that's Haggling Tip #5: The more you buy, the more you should ask for a discount. That's what Gault did back in New York at a salon: 10 percent off for a manicure, pedicure and waxing. Yes, services are negotiable, too.
Haggling Tip # 6: Do your research: Compare prices before shopping. Gault used her own site, TeriToday.com, to check the lowest price on a digital Sony camera. Then she went to Best Buy.
She told the Best Buy manager, "I can buy it on the Internet for $238 for tax and no shipping. Can you give me any kind of discount off of this?"
The manager responded, "The best I can give it to you is $269.99." But he also agreed to a camera case for half price and 15 percent off a camera memory stick. She bought all three items, saving $25 in total.
I asked Gault, "How do you look at the rest of us? Fools paying retail and full price, right?" "No," she responded, saying that she just wanted to take me shopping, and show me how to do it.
So I agreed to it and Gault accompanied me on my maiden haggling voyage. I walked into a jewelry store somewhat in disguise and wearing a hidden camera. I was looking for some earrings for my daughter's 16th birthday and immediately fell hard for a pair of $385 tanzanite earrings.
I asked the saleswoman, "How much of a discount could I get on this? On $385?"
"$350, but I can't go any lower," she responded.
That was about a 9 percent discount. Gault thought I could do better, so we left. And that's Haggling Tip #7: If you're not happy with the offer, be willing to walk away. And sure enough, at the next jewelry store, I found another pair of tanzanite earrings. Yes, they were more expensive, but I got a better deal. Here's a snippet from the conversation I had with the store manager:
Bill: "How much of a discount can I get on that?" Manager: "Are you ready to buy now or are you still comparing?" Bill: "Well, I'm ready to buy in the next 20 minutes." Manager: "I'll give it to you for $500." Bill: "If I paid in cash?" Manager: "I could include the tax and I can do it for $450. That will be your last price."
So, in less than 10 minutes, I saved a bunch of money. I paid $450 for an item that would have been $675 with tax. Instead, the shopkeeper agreed to pick up the tax.
It was easier than I thought. I think I've been converted. Honestly: the FIRST price isn't necessarily the FINAL price.

Technically it is still Sunday!!

So it is still Sunday for another 21 minutes. Yes i should be in bed already but i have been reading all the blogs. Getting some of my weekly inspiration for saving money and being the crazy wacky coupon lady!! My dh just doesnt seem to care. I still tell him some but he just doesnt seem interested. We rather got into a "heated" discussion when he yelled at me the other day about my last shopping trip. Because he didnt dig through the bags and i only had 8. Well the pullups/wipes were in 2 bags and they were the hard boxes so it looked like a lot ; ok well it was a lot but still.........all the meat packed into one bag was a lot more too!! Anyhow, he yelled at me and i yelled back. Now generally he just yells at whatever cuz he likes to yell and i just ignore him but after all that planning he really hurt my feelings. My little complaint here; after showing him all my reciepts and seeing that i paid less for ALL the baby stuff than just about anything he never said sorry or anything. I really dont expect him to be kissing my butt about it but it would have made me feel less hurt. He didnt even take the time to ask me about things before he started yelling. :(
Anyhow on Sat he made up for it mostly i guess. I am guessing i am still a little bit hurt but he did stop by the other store for me on the way home when i pointed out that it would take extra gas for me to drive there after he got home from work than if he took the "long" way home and stopped. He got the cheaper bread (cheaper at FL than Kroger) the chips on sale (which i *should have gotten at Kroger; well idk that one is a toss up) and he got some ham, swiss cheese,colby jack cheese (cuz he cant eat pbandj or wont anyways; lol) and then he got american cheese for the cheeseburger ring.
I was going to give him the grocery money he spent back from my money but he didnt or wouldnt tell me what he spent so i think i will just add it to next week or maybe i can figure something kinda cheap to do for fun tomorrow. I really would like to go spend time doing something but idk what he wants to do. He doesnt want to go swimming; he has taken the three oldest fishing either sat/sun or both and i have no interest in chasing all three lil ones or two anyway while the rest of them fish. So i have no idea what we will be doing; we might just end up splitting up for the rest of the day to do seperate things; i would guess him fishing w/some of the kids maybe and me doing well idk what......
So anyhow i would like to go to cvs and get me some free nail polish using ecb's and coupons just cuz i love to paint my toenails. It makes me feel much more feminine. Dont know why; it just does. When i paint my nails and they chip from working on the house or whatever i just feel dowdy and all not put together so i dont like to. But when i paint my toenails then its all pretty and girly and it doesnt chip off!! It makes me feel good anyways!! So i think thats my plan for tomorrow so far take Gini and go to cvs for nail polish! lol...hmm but w/gas that might be a wasted trip; i mean its gonna take a least a gallon of gas to go there which is 4.00 so if i get 3 bottles of polish for free it would be 11.98 and if i get paid to do it 14.98 hmm which doesnt look bad minus say 2 gallons....hmmm this one might require a bit of thought :( I do wish there was a cvs closer to us.
Darn yet again i forgot to call Jasons grandmother. I really need to call her. I told him after we visited i was going to try and call once a week and i havent even called once since we have been back; I think i am going to add that on my list of things to do tomorrow! Maybe i will make a list; his grandmother, my cousin to see how my aunt/uncle are doing and if they are doing ok i will give them a call....hmm maybe i can slip them a twenty in card later this week too.........i need to win the lottery or something so i can give all these people some money!! I know tons who need it, of course you must actually buy tickets to win money and i dont so that could be a problem but a little bit of money buys you a lot more than a piece of paper if you dont win when you take it shopping w/cards and coupons! LOL!! Ok i think i have been on long enough; maybe tomorrow will be better!

a few days later :)

Ok so 3 to be exact!! No i really didnt forget exactly! I am a busy mom; did you think i was good enough to do EVERY day? I barely do anything every day except maybe feed the baby and change diapers! LOL!!
But today is a good day, maybe not perfect but good. I got worn out grocery shopping but i did good. I got 4 boxes of huggies wipes, 2 baby baths, and 1 pack of pullups for 10.80!! Best savings i think but i also picked up chicken at .99 a pound so we are going to be eating a LOT of chicken but at that price.... And i got a suprise bonus check which was really, really nice and can be put to good use, especially with gas prices going the way they are. I do need to figure out my summer plan. I also need to call the dr. My smil who is an rn informed me that yes lil mans rash does look like its a yeast rash so i do need to go back to the dr for him. She said most times they give another antibiotic for that! Seems like an awful lot of medicine. I just want his ears to clear up. I went to bed halfway early last night and earlier the night before. Got some rest anyways. I so needed to catch up. So i am going to call dr tomorrow and see what they say. I am so bad i forgot the night before to give him his meds and last night i didnt want to wake him up since he hasnt been getting much sleep :( But he slept awesome last night so i am hoping maybe he is getting better! Dh is going to work in the morning but should be home in the afternoon and then i will have him until monday. Makes for some real thinking to have to be done. I would love to go swimming at lake anna; we could take a picnic lunch. But he isnt sure. Makes me wonder how we ended up together when we are so diffrent now. Like a lot of the same things in diffrent ways. He wants to spend the night at the beach; i will settle for just going for the day etc. Maybe one day we will be rich. I would love to get some new shorts/shirts/and a biggie a new BATHIGN suit this summer. The one i have is a maternity one that i got while pregnant with Bubs who is now 7!!!!! So yeah i gotta figure that out! Off to figure out the 2 girls sleeping arrangements; sigh!

Apparently its just not a great season

right now! My aunt is dying of lung cancer. She has been since last year and i am thankful that she is still here. I hurt because I have not been to see her since she started chemo. Since i have 5 kids it ALWAYS seems like one or the other has something and i would hate to be the one to cause her death by a small bug i didnt think anything of! To be honest this is one problem i never faced when mom was dying. Today i found out that her husband melvin has stage 4 liver cancer. Last wed he had half his colon removed to take the cancer out of that. We dont know how much time he has left but my heart is breaking again for both of them. And to be honest for me. Its just so hard to lose the people you love and knowing how much pain and sickness they are going through in order to fight this its just so heartbreaking. I am glad they are fighting but i do wish it wasnt so physically sickening. I am feeling overwhelmed by all the sickness and death right now. My friend lost her 4 year old son 2 weeks ago Thurs and that was so devestating. I could not not be there when i could be for her. She lives 2 hours away but i cant even begin to imagine the pain she is still dealing with today. Some days life is just so, so, so painful. I keep reminding myself though that they are in a better place and that we will all laugh together again one day in heaven! Watching even second hand all the chemo treatments and the fight to live reminds me of my mother and that is hard in a way also. Being so much younger i missed so much stuff with hers. I am also dealing with being angry with my family for not sharing this stuff. Its important to keep in touch!! Please if you are reading this remember your family and pick up the phone or email and get in touch with your family. They wont be here forever and speaking from experience it can be hard to reconnect with your family when you lose the connection!!

A time to cry?? Ok or maybe scream??

You know the names of the fonts make these sound like they are going to be so pretty and they are all just kinda plain! Aint that nuts?!!
Ok so minor rant aside today was a kinda i want to cry day!! I am worried about Jase's ears and the possibility of having to put tubes in. He was/is getting a small fever; its only 99 but that is enough to make him grouchy as in when i go to lay him down he wakes right up and if i move out of his eyesight he screams. I felt bad cuz i sorta yelled at him to stop cuz he laid on the sofa and was just screaming at me!! Argh! I am pretty much attached at the well boob to him. I am trying to think what the longest amount of time i left him for was. It hasnt been very long so its not like he isnt spoiled!!! But so anyhow i keep thinking aobut the tubes...i don't want him to be deaf; better tubes than deaf.. BUT i dont want him to die either under anethesia(sp?) so i know the chances are small but still a chance and i would rather have him deaf than dead???Am i just that strange??? SO yeah anyhow having to deal w/him all day is making me frazzled.
Sat night/Sun early am i sat out in the parking lot of the hospital to wait on my nephew (turns out he (who is 2) has pnemonia) and so didnt get home til like 330am, then we had church at 10 and then sun night Jase didnt want to sleep plus i had to dry dh's uniforms so i wound up not going to bed until like 12:30 am so i am sure lack of sleep may have had something to do with my lousy outlook on things today! I am craving a babysitter so i can just SLEEP for 4 hours or so. I would probably only be able to for 2 but a girl can dream cant she? lol. Tomorrow morning is Bible study and then Wed morning is MOP's plus Wed night the kids have royal rangers and missionettes. Only a few more and then no more until school starts next year. I am worried if we will be able to keep going unless we find a house closer to that side of the county or gas prices come down or i find a way to bring in more money but we will see what happens. So my "baby" sis is now 22 years old. Isnt that something? Some days i wasnt sure she would make it to that old but she is there so HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREA!!

and i think thats it for tonight!

A time to laugh, a time to cry

Playing around with colors and fonts now before i start writing. I have to write out the scripture i took the name of this blog from. I think its going to be a great way to begin!!
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2A time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3A time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6A time to get, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8A time to love, and a time to hate;
a time of war, and a time of peace.

I do need to work on remembering this for as another saying goes "this too shall pass!"
